I wouldn't be surprised if the budget that would have been put into physicals was funnelled into the visuals for the era. I mean, the amount of content he has released so far has been staggering.

If anything, it's still a smash. He's now firmly cemented as a pop culture icon, and that is what will bring in the real money/numbers over the long run.

Edit: Vinyls are taking long to make right now so I assume his plans about the Sam Smith duet are for a deluxe version push he'd probably do in a couple of days if he really wants that #1 but still, Drake's wave is strong.

AND that Kid Cudi collab!!!!!

we need it omg

Just goes to show that homophobia is alive and well - what a loss for the gays

Nah, it's actually the gays who didn't support him the most:yennefer:

They missed out on physical media. I would have bought a CD just to support him.

I get not having vinyls right now because of the back up, but to have no preorder (especially no cds or cassettes) is really weird. A lot of rappers don’t always have label support for tons of physical releases, but this is 100% a pop record.

I'm sorry for Lil Nas because he really did the most (whereas Drake did very little as usual :huntyga:) and it would obviously mean a lot to him to get a #1 with his debut album. But on the other hand, charts really don't mean that much anymore imo.

Nobody is going to remember any of these copy and paste Drake songs.

Yes Drake is doing 230k+ second week. :toofunny:

Very worried about Love for Sale. :ohno:

I'm worried too but I think Taylor is gonna get that #1 for the fearless vinyls. Also there's still two weeks left so maybe his streams will go down by then.

ain't that a +50% drop... that's a lot!

We also have this in our favor, I think locals would grow out of his album by the next weeks.

This, every time I see pages like Pop Crave and Pop Base tweeting anything about him, i see only bad comments from Stan Twitter accounts. And it's disappointing of you ask me
