AHS Double Feature is the most critically acclaimed season so far

The first part of the season is so so good tbh. A big return to AHS standards (in writing, direction and format). The second part seems promising as well. 

 

Glad to see AHS back full force in a much more tamed and more serious tone this year (even though I absolutely loved some couple of seasons the last few years. the very 80s slasher 1984 season is a guilty pleasure in my opinion)

The new latest episode was so good! I stopped being excited for AHS after hotel wrapped up. This season has me waking up at 630 EXCITED to watch the new episode after I take care of my dog in the morning.

It's strange how they critics' consensus highlights Leslie's small supporting role and ignores Finn and Lily's lead performances which are also incredibly well done
