Okay, I think a 65% is fairly safe... it would take a lot of really negative reviews to bring it down below that now...

My petty ass just wants it to stay fresh to prove Grace Randolph wrong. :huntyga:

I agree. They do this with every album as well. Crunch the numbers. I just like enjoying the work

Eh, for some of us who like films and participate in film twitter... it's enjoyable to read reviews. I still enjoy movies and I do not let reviews impact if I'm going to see a film or not...but it's interesting to see what people say about a movie. I actually pay far less attention to music reviews.

It likely will...at this point I think it's fairly safe to say it will remain fresh.

True; some of us are not panicking, we are just discussing- I don't know what's wrong with that. And those who are panicking should cool down themselves.

"Reviewers noted House of Gucci never quite pushes itself into being unapologetically camp, but also doesn't let itself be completely grounded and serious"

I'm going to see the film tonight, so I'm speaking without being sure, but I'm increasingly convinced that Ridley Scott, a director of great intelligence, was inspired by the most obvious of sources (strange that I didn't think of it before): the "Commedia all'Italiana".

If the little cinephiles here are familiar with the work of directors such as Dino Risi, Mario Monicelli, Ettore Scola, Lina Wertmuller and other great authors of the golden age of Italian cinema, they probably know what I am referring to.

These films were characterised by a light tone, bordering on the vulgar, which concealed a sharp satire and a sometimes very harsh social criticism.

Even Parasite, for example, was clearly inspired by some Italian films of the 60s and 70s (and the presence in one scene of a very popular Italian song of that period was a pretty clear indication).

We'll see if I'm right.

HOUSE OF COOCHIE is at 67% with 100 reviews officially counted. Average rating is a 6.1/10

66% with another 30 reviews added. Once this hits 200 reviews, I don't think the rating will change all that much.

so far the trend has been more or less constant: two positive reviews for one negative.
in fact we are now at 84 pos against 43 neg

So 2/3 of positive reviews.

it's been like this since the beginning, unless the haters decide to post a vitriolic critique all at the same time, I think it will remain pretty constant.
