What do you think is more important? Especially for Gaga’s career rn.

I think she needs to start churning out some unbelievable experimental albums that the gp doesn’t even look at but the critics (and monsters) eat up:pawsup:

At this point i think she is critics darling, i mean she is getting and doing things to get that acclaim since cheek to cheek, and she already has it, i think she needs to focus more in getting another hit song for GP like shallow

I think BTS have singlehandedly proven that chart success is meaningless and easily bought these days :reductive: you can get all the #1s you want, but unless it's actually organic like Olivia Rodrigo it's just numbers on paper.

Chromatica was her best reviewed album yet AND had great sales. But the critical success is what matters and only strengthens her legacy. :vegas:

I straight up don't care about where anything charts. I just care how it's received based on the quality.

Both + on a personal level, the most important thing remains "I want to like it", duh.

Critical Acclaim right now. A great artist will make their impact/mark during their imperial phase, then they will grow and put out their best work once they've already conquered. Taylor Swift and Beyonce are perfect examples. Both of them also proved that if the music is truly great, commercial success will follow too. Gaga had her imperial phase and comeback, now she needs to have her critical acclaimed era.
