First of all, why did she at @ herself in the second tweet?  

Second of all, this "apology" is incredibly ignorant and fails to address the real problem. I don't care what it was "meant" to be (which is incredibly suspicious by itself given the fact the dancer posted some problematic posts), I care about the final result, which is not at all good and of very poor taste. I don't understand how the concept of "bad tan" is related to the overall concept of the performance either but I digress.

Camila clearly doesn't understand what she's saying or what the root of the problem is.

As I said in another thread, for better or for worse, she's the visible face, whether she likes it or not. But even if she wasn't the visible face, if I were her and saw a dancer that was standing right next to me using blackface of all things, I would've immediately sent him back for someone to take that thing off asap.
