The Foo Fighters have unveiled their new musical direction - transforming from stadium rock heroes to a Bee Gees tribute band for their next project.

As the Dee Gees, a nod to frontman Dave Grohl's initials, the band will release an album including 4 Bee Gees covers.

Hail Satin will see the Foos take on the Gibb brothers' 1970s disco classics Night Fever, Tragedy, You Should Be Dancing and More Than a Woman.

It will be released on vinyl for US Record Store Day on 17 July.  source

It sounds pretty good!

It's funny they're doing disco while I am having the feeling that grunge could come back to be popular soon

They look so happy in that promo pic lmao, it brings me joy to see these old dudes having fun and not worrying about their brand/staying cool.

God created Adam and Eve, but Gọdga collabed with Brian🎺 and Steve🎷

Interesting. Although that “You should be dancing” clip sounds exactly like The Bee Gees. I wonder if they’re gonna do anything different with the songs.  If not I’d rather just listen to The Bee Gees versions lol

Excited for this, love Foo, hope it is as good as when U2 tried it with their album, POP. Discotheque is still one of my fave song from them.
