Nintendo responds to non-binary Pokémon letter

Forgive me if I'm wrong but don't pokemon have biological sexes for mating reasons? That's not the same as gender 

Also gender is a human construct so why does that apply to fictional monsters lol

Also I always remember the pokemon characters using "it" pronoun for pokemon, could've changed/not been consistent throughout the series tho idk
