I feel the production is simple, but effective. If the instrumental and the vocals were separate tracks, it would work better as the instrumental is beautiful but barely present in the song itself. Clearly her voice, overtaking. Born This Way I kinda wish she'd kept the name Wanderlust. I loathe the autotune effect on her voice, it's unnecessary. The production is nice, but gets lost with the distracting vocals. GagaIsMyCurea masterpiece Born This Way I'm assuming this was originally the old title track White Hot Forever and it's interesting that she changed it. If that is the case, I think Tulsa Jesus Freak fits the album so much better. The autotuned/vocoder effect is really cool. The sample makes the song better, even if you're not a die hard Lana fan, you might recognize it (or not, but it might still make you feel like you've known this song for years) Lyrics aren't out of this world, but they're nice. musicland talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, sh!t on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it When I first saw the tracklist, I did not think this song would be anything spectacular, but I was so wrong. I love how she sings this song, her vocals in this legit make my heart flutter. ChristianDior The “you’re killing me Joe” part is beyond fantastic Born This Way I know the comparison to How to Disappear just based on the sleigh bells is superficial and everyone thinks that but I can't help but feel like it's a lesser song.
