Wait, ARTPOP never made it to the top 100 albums? Not even after its release?

Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.

ARTPOP has such special meaning in my life because it came out one month before I met my current partner. We also went to the Artrave together early on in our relationship. I am so happy to see people stanning it all these years later. I always thought it was criminally underrated.

I don’t think Apple Music was a thing in 2013. Just iTunes.

Time to stream the album from start to finish 1 more time before the tracking day ends

Same! At some point it’s gonna fall back down the charts so we have to enjoy this moment and see how far up we can make the album go.

Wow. What's driving this? I love ARTPOP but seriously what is driving it?

The Act 2 petition but it is gaining a lot traction I wasn’t expecting :firega:

Im assuming with the nostalgia factor coming with Taylor’s re-releases, this is driving people to relive their past and get music that was meant for that time period.

If we keep it up, the GP could really catch on.

Its an era with tons of unfulfilled potential and unfortunate barriers in the way, yet it was also gaga at her most raw and honest in interacting with us. Those factors combined make people extremely passionate about the album and era, seeing it get attention is just heartwarming compared to The Fame charting for the 200th week or something because it is so underrated in a ton of people’s minds. They made their most personal connections with Gaga in that era, so when the album underperformed, they felt pain alongside her because they knew how much it meant to her.

If there’s an album which would benefit most from streaming parties, trends, etc. started by fans - it’s absolutely ARTPOP because of that passion. Which we are seeing today.

Post of the decade tbh
