A big part of why features don't take off is because they don't truly count as the other artist's #1 so pooling fanbases for a hit doesn't always pay off. Unless it's as much their hit as the headliner, the featured's fans don't really care as much. Song isn't the best but I'm glad the album's getting some kind of recognition. DWTD couldn't even get onto the top 100 despite being far and away the best song on there. Though I wish that duet with Sam Fischer would take off, that was a much better single. Wonder if she'll release the Saweetie collab next? It's no secret that artists are less likely to go #1 as they get older, especially if they're women. Gaga was able to get a #5 debut only 3 months before ROM. Even though SL only spent 1 week in the Top 10 it’s not like ROM spent forever on there either. (Around 4 weeks). But to say that Ariana is the only reason we got a #1 debut is incorrect because it’s not like Gaga is a small artist. P.S.
