Gaga is part Hispanic/Spanish?

so I was looking at Gaga's profile on ethniceleb.com (the #1 website for celebrity ethnicity and genealogy) and noticed something interesting...

It says that her great grandfather, Antonino Germanotta born 1881, was the son of Francesco Germanotta and Rosaria Guerriero

I'm positive that Guerriero is a Spanish last name? Like the wrestler who died Eddie Guerriero?

Does Gaga actually have some Hispanic blood in her?

Guerrero (without the i) is the actual spanish last name. Guerriero may be a variation in... italian. :huntyga:

It's an Italian name. That said, there are several Italian & Spanish names that are identical (not just because people of Italian descent immigrated to x or y or vice versa) as the languages share a lot of similarities. For example, Toro is a name found both in Italy and in Spanish speaking countries.

No, she’s 3/4 Italian and 1/4 Northern European. Us Mediterraneans are pretty similar. We share a lot of words, culture, etc.

My next question is, do Italians claim Gaga as Italian?

I think it took them a while to appreciate her and her Italian origins, I think the full acceptance happened after million reasons, she gave them THE Sanremo Festival song that they always wanted, since then, they can't stop listening to her.
