Are people actually suggesting that Disney, of all companies, could not afford to, or simply could not manage the talent to, finish an animated movie? They acquired so many movies in the Fox acquisition. They made a clear choice not to acquire it, but to shut it down. At least be honest about that. Do you know that BlueSky studio is located outside California and it is not economical not practical for Disney to keep them around either way? Disney certainly not gonna relocate them to live in CA, especially currently, when they already had to fire a lot of cast mates from Disneyland in CA and FL amid the pandemic.
