Sure, we can agree on it's embarrassing that this went trough. If it was meant to make people laugh, it's a few years too late. 

I think i just question why she takes it so seriously now, when she's made fun of the absurdity, and made millions of it on multiple occasions.

People who are offended by this better not watch Madtv or some of the earlier sketch comedies.  Smh you can't even joke anymore.  No sense of humor.

You should have watched the footage of the TV show this is from. It is definitely not a comedy. It's a drama meant to be taken completely seriously, which makes it bizarrely hilarious but not intentionally.
