It does have different lyrics and structure from what we can tell. Ad-libs are obvious. But easiest to point out is this one

Album version:

Ba-Ba-Babylon, Gossip, gossip, Ba-Ba-Babylon, battle for your life, Gossip, gossip, Ba-Ba-Babylon, Gossip, gossip, Ba-Ba-Babylon

Leaked snippet:

Or like the chorus being "battle for your life in Babylon" on the Haus version instead of just ""battle for your life, Babylon"

Also in the snippet the vocals leading into the chorus are totally different from the album in a way I suspect that the "It's the thing that you bring, That you bring, that you bring, Him, you and me, That's gossip (that's gossip)" line might not be present in the Haus version. That line is more fitting for the gospel choir direction the album version took as opposed to the more hard hitting Haus Labs version. Either way - every small change in lyrics counts if they plan on using the song in any meaningful way.

To be fair. It makes sense to title it that. It has been used multiple times to promote Haus Labs and it is the original iteration of the song. Fans have been calling it that and kinda given it a life if it's own life that way. No reason to over complicate it and try and give it some new and "fresh" title.

I was just pointing out that we the fans have gained a lot of influence over the years on official releases.

I don't see the point of trashing Dua Lipa here. Especially she has been everything but a 'boring ass' in 2020.

 

Anyway, back on topic I don't think we'll ever get new Lady Gaga music anytime soon. If that project to give life to her old demos from the original 2018 / 2019 LG6, I think it's cancelled. I know they thought about releasing that SOPHIE song, but it's quite obvious it's won't be happening.
