Well, I strongly disliked her debut but Future Nostalgia was not only mostly-written entirely by Dua herself but the quality was incredible. Backed up by singles, remixes, stunning videos, choreography, and performances.  I'd call that far from basic.

Yes.  But I don't see the sense in throwing shade at any popstar.  The are all people striving to make a living and provide entertainment for many people.  Imo every artist should be celebrated for what they bring to the table.  Even if we don't enjoy an artists'  work, many people do and are inspired and uplifted by it.

I definitely disagree here  apart from the singles, nothing on the album stood out or was that good quality. Her choreography has improved though, and her performances too. She needs to bring it for her next album, like do something huge and go with the intent of changing the game. I'd be here for her if her music was better, I think there is potential there.

I think as long as its just playful and not vicious, then its okay. We all have different tastes at the end of the day, so our opinions will differ. But my point was that its hypocritical for people to shade an artist(s) then jump back and say its childish or rude when something similar is thrown at their fave, especially those who drag Gaga (on GGD).

I had no idea it was a Dua thread, I thought it was a Katy thread based of the title... but I don't always campaign against her, that's a false rumour

I was trying to take the high road but he clearly came to this thread with questionable intentions. I don't buy that story "i thought this was about katy, i am very innocent" yeah sure

Agreed. But the topic of the thread was not clear from the title. Given that Katy Perry has songs called Witness and Rise, one would assume that based of the title, the thread would be about Katy Perry. I don't buy the 'I tried to take the high road' excuse because if that were true, they wouldn't have made that comment. They could have left it, or changed the title to something more appropriate. I dished out what I was served at the end of the day, so I'm sorry to you if what I had said made you feel some type of way. I have a feeling someone is trying to get under my skin. 

I will take the high road and be the bigger person here by saying sorry to the OP and to anyone else that felt some type of way. That wasn't my intention, and I am rooting for Dua Lipa not always going against her or throwing shade towards her.
