I mean she is one of my most played singers this year, but we have to acknowledge she plays safe at basic sounds, moves and else. Not that is bad, but is a fact

I hated New rules. That was really basic and annoying. But FN really sounds like an improvement. She's never been overly pretentious with her music but she's still fun.

I used to think New Rules and Sweet but Psycho were from the same singer

There's nothing new or groundbreaking with Future Nostalgia either. With the exception of a few tracks, the rest of the album is really basic, repetitive, and more-or-less the same sound throughout. Its cohesive, but not in a good way. There's no peaks and valleys with Future Nostalgia. For all the hype that surrounded it, it fell short and was pretty bland. 

There are some good tracks on there, don't get me wrong. But as a full body of work... I just don't see how it people can say she's not basic or that she did prove that she's different and not just some popstar who makes basic bops. She does seem fun though

There’s a lot of commitment to it and the aesthetic is awesome. Also Levitating is better than 90% of Chromatica.

Commitment as in promo, yes. You can tell that she cares. The aesthetic isn't that impressive... compared to the aesthetic for Chromatica, like, Chromatica just set the bar so high. Chromatica is on a whole other level and you can't compare the two. Gaga delivered her best album and easily the best album of 2020. Chromatica I is better than 90% of FN.

Dua? Basic girl in 2020? Maybe 2016, but now?  She served a much higher quality album rollout than our own fave.
