edit: This must be about streams? I just took notice of the figures :air: streams weren't really a thing in 09 :emma:

Neither were they during Good Girl Gone Bad and Reloaded :emma:

Something about this feels wrong. Where's Rihanna's Loud or Talk That Talk era? She had massive singles both times.

Rihanna has never been an album seller. Matter of fact, her first #1 album was Unapologetic.

She’s a singles queen. Love her!

Isn't this a singles ranking only?

People keep saying that but she has GGGB is at 9 million WW Loud at 8 million WW and TTT at 6 Million WW.  That as much albums sold as Gaga with TF TFM and BTW.

Then Rihanna has Rated R at 3 Million WW and  Unapologetic at 4 Million WW.

Lady Gaga has ARTPOP at 2.5 M and Joanne at 1 M.

I had no idea TF/TFM was so massive :saladga:

But it felt massive indeed at the time :ally:

I dunno why but I found this funny. How did u not know? Every single song that was released as a single was a pretty big hit a few of them extremely big hits like Just Dance, Poker Face and Bad Romance but even everything else was like top 5 or top 6 :ladyhaha:

I knew it was huge but never searched for any receipts :flop:

Isn't it unfair to compare albums that were re-released to albums that weren't tho? I mean, I happy for Katy and Gaga but...

Teenage Dream is far the best pop album of the century :firega:

That would be 1989

I like 1989, but this album is far from Teenage Dream. All singles from Teenage Dreams are timeless, while 1989 has “only” 2 timeless songs.

I had no idea the Teenage Dream era sold that much. Also surprised 21 doesn't have more; that album was everywhere continuously until 25 was announced. But congrats Gaga
