Oh, it's like choosing a favorite child :saladga:

I'd say Ray of Light. It showcases her widest emotional and vocal range, the composition and songwriting are intertwined in a way that's both inventive and yet classy.

She's got so many great albums tbh. My personal list would be:

1. Ray of Light

2. Like a Prayer

3. Confessions on a Dance Floor

4. Bedtime Stories

5. American Life

6. True Blue

7. Music

8. Erotica

9. Madonna

10 (Bonus). I'm Breathless

11. Like a Virgin

... a major drop in quality here :huntyga:

12. Rebel Heart

13. Hard Candy

14. MDNA

15. Madame X

Those in bold are pretty much untouchable and among the best ever albums ever released. Bedtime Stories is not as acclaimed but it is a personal favorite of mine :legend:

Madonna from True Blue up to COADF is probably the best pop musician I ever know. Shame she kinda went on to destroy her legacy for me with her newer releases. I'm not a hater by any means, I have a drawing of her in my room but... yeah. She used to work with Björk and Prince and then went on to work with Maluma and stuff lately. Can't say I stan that :vegas:

Don't feel sad, Madonna's legacy is always there, I myself discovered there was a Madonna when I was 14, in 2005. Wow time flies.

To the point now, I'd have to say Ray of Light and Confessions on a Dance Floor are her best work, no offense to the other albums. These are her magnum opi because of the spiritual connection and that feeling of hope and loneliness and of course the endless dancing and feeling of euphoria.

Oh wow-- he produced both of those albums? They do have commonalities from what I hear. interesting to learn

Mirwais produced Music, American Life and Madame X.

Ray Of Light was produced by William Orbit.

And I must agree with other people aswell, Rebel Heart is very underrated.
If you remove some of the cringe songs (Illuminati, Bitch I'm Madonna, Holy Water, S.E.X) it's definitely a very solid album with beautiful lyrics, melodies & vocals.

Not exactly a stan but a casual fan, I'm just here to say that Confessions is her best album for me by far and potentially the best of all time :diane: (BTW is holding her back tho :poot:)
