i wish people would stop doing this. it's okay to be artistically inspired by another artist that came before you whom you admire, and it's even okay to give nods to them, but make it be known that you're inspired by them and don't blatantly rip them off or copy them like this woman did. it just shows how some people may be amazing singers, but they are not artists. real artists can create organic material without feeling the need to appropriate or steal from others.
