Addiction is a terrifying disease; we need to learn to have more sympathy for people who are battling addiction.

incredibly serious. relapsing opioids is especially terrible because people tend to dose when they were their most tolerant, body can’t handle it, death.

This is the scary thing about addicts being prescribed pain pills when it's needed. It's not like they're intentionally trying to relapse, but it's so easy to slip down the hole again.

Good for him for admitting it so fast, that takes a ton of courage. They both seem like genuinely good people and I hope he can get through this. It must be devastating to relapse, but that is the sad reality of facing an addiction. Good thoughts are going their way.
