Why Gaga scrapped the Chromatica idea in 911?

I think some fans are confused by the concept of Chromatica. Chromatica is supposed to be this mental place she goes to to escape her demons and her trauma, that’s where she is at peace and it heals her. Within the context of the album which is exactly about confronting her trauma and healing, Chromatica serves as a metaphor for her healing journey. So she escapes to Chromatica because that way it’s easier for her to face her problems.

Visually, Chromatica has been generally represented as that futuristic pink planet, yes. But in 911 we still see Chromatica, just visually represented in another way. But they both represent the exact same thing. As a matter of fact, 911 is the MV where has best represented what Chromatica really is. For SL and ROM it was more superficial, she seemed to be more focused on showcasing the visual aspect of it, hence why I think some fans seem to not understand what Chromatica really signifies.
