For those unfamiliar with it, you can access the Gagadaily archives and look through threads of ye olden days. Back when the disco stick was still controversial, admin allowed image signatures and GaGa was still capitalized in funny ways . 

So I thought it would be fun to zoom in on the reactions to what we now consider her signature hit. Obviously some things have changed, but some types of reactions have remained quite similar

Reacting to the single announcement & the first leak [link] 
•  "Finally a name!!! I'm so excited! Can't wait to hear it on SNL...hope it's really goood!!!"

The "roma roma-ma" part of the final version was "ma ma ma-ma-ma" in the demo.

@Admin could it be that things like the MV release and the live debut on SNL were posted as news items on the homepage at the time? I can't find the threads about them.

This was exactly my reaction when I first heard BR 

I used to be so scared of the video but liked the song anyway
