Chromatican 4,046
Her new song WAP seems to be taking a page from Cupcakke’s book. Look at the following similarities: “Can't no bitch replace this young twat 'Cause I can go 24-7, it's non-stop“ - Cupcakke, 2016 “I said certified freak, seven days a week“ -Cardi, 2020 “I'ma write my name on his **** (His ****) Don't need a pen or a pencil (No, I don't) All I need is my body (My body)“ -Cupcakke, 2016 “When I ride the ****, I'ma spell my name, ah“ -Cardi, 2020 “*** sound like that macaroni is stirrin' (damn)” -Cupcakke, 2017 “Macaroni in a pot, that's some wet-ass ***, huh“ -Cardi, 2020 “Cat dripping everywhere come get the floor mopped up I done drank so much nut I think my throat stopped up” -Cupcakke, 2016 “Now get a bucket and a mop, that's some wet-ass ***” -Cardi, 2020 “Relax me with massage Park your **** in my garage (Skrrrt!)” -Cupcakke, 2018 “I want you to park that big Mack truck right in this little garage” -Cardi, 2020 “I’m not a squirter I cream.” -Cupcakke, 2016 “Scary movie, better have me screamin' (Ah)” -Cupcakke, 2018 “Make it cream, make me scream“ -Cardi, 2020
Doot 2
Cupcake isn't the first female rapper to be overly sexually explicit in her lyrics.

No, but there are like a ton of lyrics in WAP that are straight up Cupcakke. All of these similarities in one song.

LateToCult 36,286
None of these lines are unique or all that original though. Take the macaroni one for example. It sure sounds very specific and new but people have been saying macaroni and pasta in general makes a certain...sexual sound when you stir it for YEARS. Just enjoy the song and don’t overthink it. Born in Chromatica 7
No. Cupcake is not the first to rap about Wet P's and Cardi B will not be the last to rap about Wet P's. It's not that deep of an issue. It is not an original topic to rap about. FaShIoN iS mY pAsSiOn!

RabbitHeart 792
Things like going 7 days a week, creaming/screaming, needing a mop, the parking garage metaphor just seem like very obvious sexual inuendos/phrases that I'm almost certain didn't originate with Cupcakke. Specifically, spelling your name and sounding like macaroni are two concepts that were very popular jokes to make on twitter for a while so I also don't see those being fair. Although, if we're being honest, I do think Cupcakke helped usher in a new era of overtly and comedically sexual rap music done by women. Songs like WAP and several other tracks by Cardi and Meg are part of that wave. I don't want to say they owe thanks to Cupcakke (I'm no music historian) but I'd love Cupcakke to get the recognition she deserves.
Enigma 7,182
Half of these have different meanings from one another Writing your name on a **** =/= spelling a word with your body Also those are some of the most basic Cupcakke lyrics out there, they’re just common metaphors If Cardi’s song had “imma put my Kylie Jenner lipstick on my *** lips” or “your pubic hair starts to give me a moustache” then maybe I’d see something fishy
