The more I consider Ava's career so far, I think she might be very successful in the long run 

By placing herself as pretty much the only mainstream popstar releasing songs in this genre in 2020, anyone who loves this kind of music will know her name. Although it might be "reductive" (lol, the irony, shame on us), it could turn out to be a very smart business move.

There's a demand for songs like Kings & Queens, and no one else is supplying it. We'll see, though.
