Introducing a new brand is done in small batches but it either sells or it doesn't. It isn't done to "increase demand." It's done to decrease start up costs and decrease losses if it doesn't sell. Small batches going on reduce the risk of loss for the business, it’s easy to make more. However for something like this which is a new brand, a lot sell ‘small batches’ to create the effect of ‘demand’ which results in people wanting it more.
