Gaga Valentino perfume: first look, out Sept 16th

I don’t think much of this picture. She looks good as always, but it’s nothing special. 
 

I doubt she’d use Free Woman as the campaign song. Wasn’t it supposed to be a unisex fragrance?

 

Anyway, I’m predicting that by this time next year I’ll no longer be a fan of Lady Gaga. 
She’s become a boring, money making machine 😔

(I’ll hopefully retract this statement in the future if she actually puts her Art before making money. But it’s how I feel rn)

I agree that she’s kind of boring atm but i’ll always love her even if i might not be super interested in her at one point.

Saw the description of the flask some weeks ago as well. So it's real after all (?)

If that photo of her is real, it's very underwhelming though  Hope the other shots and commercial are better, because this one is quite basic. 

I didn't expect extravagant Gaga for this campaign, and classical beauty works fine for this, but I envisioned something more along the lines of this, with like really radiating skin, long blonde/platina hair with waves:

But her 'for the money' mentality always used to be, very intrinsically, tied to her artistry. 

Now, it's tied to her name, her brand... her ability to make money for money's sake. 

And when we're in an 'era' where music and art is supposed to be at the forefront (not HausLabs or... this) - it all becomes even more apparent, and harder to enjoy, or at least ignore.

Anyway, just a few thoughts. 

I'll always support Gaga and I adore her talent. But I don't understand why she keeps trying to earn more and more money. Hasn't she got enough? It just goes against everything that, to me, 'Lady Gaga' represents. I guess it's time to accept that's not the case, anymore. 

I wouldn’t have made this comment under this thread since she didn’t have full control over this campaign but yeah she’s really testing us lately  this is definitely the most boring Gaga Era and she’s not doing anything to make it better.

The exact description I was going for in my head, but kept coming out wrong when I started to type. Didn't want it to come out as the overly dramatic 'dead behind the eyes' because that's not what I mean

True... but she's Lady Gaga, and if she didn't like the creative direction of this campaign, she shouldn't have done it. That's the thing, it's as though she compromises her own vision (and that's being hopeful, here...) for the sake of money - and it doesn't make any sense. She doesn't need the money, and consumerism - she has said - is empty and not for her... so unless she's truly inspired by something, I don't know why she compromises on those things in the pursuit of something she already has more than enough of. 

Of course, maybe what we're seeing here IS her vision and this IS something she is deeply inspired by.... but... really? 

I don't know.
