I know there was one photographer specifically who Gaga had a deal with, so that instead of stalking her all day and night, she tells him where she is and lets him take 'candid' pics to get it over and done with on her time. It's mutually beneficial. Also that way they can have photos taken on days they look really good instead of the paps desperately stalking them on the way to the supermarket.
