crybrowz 3,156
I know I'm in the minority but I actually really like it. I love the 70's/hippie vibes and the bridge and outro are two of my fav moments of her discography.

Agunimon 20,228
Hey Girl is a good song within the context of the album, but it is not a song I would go to listen to unless I listen to Joanne in full.

Bubblegum Bitch 18,934
Hey Girl is not forgettable for me, but I don't like this song. Lyrics are great, what else could we expect from Gaga, but instrumentals...
Better Day 5,766
It is one of my favourites off Joanne. I do have to be in a certain mood for the song. I will say Hey Girl is something different for Gaga & Florence Together You And I!

Cello 49,529
Literally one of my favourite Gaga songs. The bridge is one of the best things on Joanne. she/her 👹🖤 | 🚫Tabloid Junkie🎶

Lord Axel 493
every time I see a thread like this about Hey Girl it takes 10 years off my life REAL TALK: on my first listen, the album was mostly whatever to me UNTIL Hey Girl came on - it was the first song on the album that actually made me feel like, WOWWWW. THIS IS WHAT HEAVEN FEELS LIKE And that's why it's my favorite on Joanne ʟɪᴠɪɴɢ ᴛʜᴇ ɢᴏʟᴅ ᴀɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇ ꜱɪʟᴠᴇʀ ᴅʀᴇᴀᴍ ϟ†▽✰𝒿 ~
Mrbirthday 192
I get what you mean. I feel like this song was slept on too because of what people were expecting from this album. I think people wanted a pop album more than a "raw" and stripped back album. For me, I appreciate the song because I like the vibe it gives off. For me Joanne is an album that I like to put on to and just vibe with and take it in. I don't expect to dance to it (even though there are those songs on it to dance to) but to relax and take it in. I found out that I love Hey Girl even more. Especially, if you are with friends and having some wine like Grigio Girls.
