    • It would’ve been a MASSIVE hit
    • It would’ve been a cute top 20 hit
    • It would’ve been iconic, but not praised
    • It would’ve kinda flopped
    • It would’ve been panned by critics
    • It would’ve flopped hard

Let’s pretend that The Greatest Thing (Cher and Gaga’s unreleased song) was released as Born this Way’s first single. It would’ve been exactly the same as the demo (but in HQ). It would’ve received a performance at the Grammys, and Gaga would’ve performed solo versions of it on various TV shows as promo. Would it have been a hit with the GP? Would it have flopped? Would it have gotten good reviews???? Would it have smashed? Discuss:ohwell:

It probably would have reached top 20, and top 10 if it was lucky. It wouldn't be a massive hit at all, but it would definitely be a fan favorite song

Flopped HARD. It’s too corny in the way it exists currently...it would’ve been a fan favourite tho

Hard to say cause gaga was on top of the world at the moment and the song is cute it just needed better production. It perfectly suits Cher too so i think with the right promo it could’ve done decently well

MANiCURE 6

Maybe a TOP10 debut but then.... PI charts history realness :nooo:

But like @geishababe said, Gaga was on top of the world at that time so maybe it would have been as huge as Born This Way (single) :enigma:
