Beyonce remix has some cool things, kinda drags a bit, and im tired of her singing with her backvocals and overharmonizing every single thing. But the beat is kinda basic, well done but could be sold anywhere online by countless producers. Megan has a nice flow, and timbre/presence. But really theres nothing really outstanding. Rain on Me, is a very different song. Also very very different than anything from 2020. The intro is very nice, the Gaga verse is not very pleasing and the melody is repititve. She screechs a bit on the first high note of every phrase. But it gets better and better. The beat is nice, bit repetitive but flows well. It doesnt really hit hard. But theres a feeling of joy.Β Humm rain on me is better but i think Savage sounds better. The overall quality of Rain on Me falls a bit flat. It doesnt sound amazing on radio.
