Gypsy I heard the piano version, and then I heard a few seconds of the album version and thought that it was no match for this: Since I loved that piano version so much, I could not feel inclined to listen to the album version in full. Dope is a similar story as above, I listened to the I Wanna Be With You version from the ARTPOP Apple special and couldn’t even get over the reworked lyrics for Dope. Jewels and Drugs I saw a couple seconds on the iTunes Festival and did not like it, so I never listened to the album version. Til It Happens To You I only listened to the Oscars performance and don’t feel like listening to the recorded version, because I thought the live version was powerful enough for me (it is a very heavy song, so I don’t feel like revisiting it). So in a sense I heard them live in full (except Jewels n Drugs), but refused to listen to the recorded versions.
