I know everyone keeps praising her performance in A Star Is Born, but i thought she was absolutely mesmerizing in AHS. I think she excels at portraying eccentric morally questionable dark characters like The Countess. She was able to create sympathy for such a dark character. Gaga in AHS is very underrated imo. Ally was very "Joanne". And her next role is allegedly...an Italian fashion personality. Imo none of these roles were super daring but for her starting out they don't have to be. I'd really like to see her do a role that completely takes us by surprise. Something that is not dark theatrics like she's done before, stripped down singer/songwriter, or Italian fashion queen.
