Quark 7,016
o<(0_0)>o Here are some Chromatica Easter eggs or things that you may have not noticed on Chromatica (although I am pretty sure many of you probably already figured these out). Also feel free to post your own “Easter eggs/discoveries” on this thread. Chromatica 1 is the same instrumental as the Stupid Love teaser video. On Alice, there is a unique vocal synth layered behind the robotic Gaga vocals section. The ending sound on Stupid Love blends with a rain sound on Rain On Me Free Woman has hypnotic vocals layered behind Gaga’s vocals on the verses. On Plastic Doll, when Gaga sings “am I your type” Gaga’s voice changes to a robotic toy- like voice as if the doll is asking a human this question. On Plastic Doll, Gaga calls the toy version of herself Malibu Gaga. Then when she sings “Looks so sad, what is this saga?” Gaga makes a weird but sad voice “Oh!” On Enigma, Gaga makes a lot of references to fantastical and nonsensical visions “Mystery Man”, “Woman Phantom”, “Dragon’s Eyes”, “Goddess breathing”, as to allude to the definition of Enigma which basically means something that doesn’t make sense. She also references her Vegas show when she asks “is this all virtual?” Which fits with the storyline of the show. Replay has a lot of rewind or reverse sounds to fit with the title of the song. On Babylon, instead of saying blood moonlight in one of the lyrics, Gaga says Bloodpop moonlight. In that same lyric, when Gaga sings “Speak in languages in a bloodpop monlight” Gaga is referencing story on the Bible that explains the origin of all languages in the Tower of Babel. This also supports the theme of the song which is “Gossip”.

waterlikemisery 1,008
Replay's about a conversation between Stefani and Lady Gaga and how Gaga cannot get rid of Stefani's pain, so in the bridge, Gaga is hoping to heal "psychologically, it's something that I can't explain. Scratch my nails into the dirt to pull me out okay." but Stefani basically tells Gaga that there is no hope "Doesn't matter, doesn't matter, damage is done. Doesn't matter, doesn't matter. You had the gun." it's just heartbreaking honestly.
DiskoBaby 1,929
When you listen to the songs seperatly, you can hear the ending of some songs prior to it. Each song really connects with each other and demands you listen to the album in order. For example Alice, you hear the ending of Chromatica I in the beginning. Red 87,362
I think the most interesting thing is how she (almost) opens the album saying "could you put me out of this alive?" and closes it telling us to battle for our lives If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.
