the definition of Enigma which basically means something that doesn’t make sense.

why do so many people have difficulties on understanding the word "enigma"?:selena:

I'm not dragging you

it's just that I've noticed it on many reaction videos  too

"enigma: something that is mysterious and seems impossible to understand completely"

if it helps, in Greece enigma and riddle can both be used when we talk about puzzle games etc.

so when we use "enigma" for a person  in English just think of the definition "riddle"

I hope that make sense :selena:

Here are some Chromatica Easter eggs or things that you may have not noticed on Chromatica (although I am pretty sure many of you probably already figured these out). Also feel free to post your own “Easter eggs/discoveries” on this thread.

Chromatica 1 is the same instrumental as the Stupid Love teaser video.

On Alice, there is a unique vocal synth layered behind the robotic Gaga vocals section.

The ending sound on Stupid Love blends with a rain sound on Rain On Me

Free Woman has hypnotic vocals layered behind Gaga’s vocals on the verses.

On Plastic Doll, when Gaga sings “am I your type” Gaga’s voice changes to a robotic toy- like voice as if the doll is asking a human this question.

On Plastic Doll, Gaga calls the toy version of herself Malibu Gaga. Then when she sings “Looks so sad, what is this saga?” Gaga makes a weird but sad voice “Oh!”

On Enigma, Gaga makes a lot of references to fantastical and nonsensical visions “Mystery Man”, “Woman Phantom”, “Dragon’s Eyes”, “Goddess breathing”, as to allude to the definition of Enigma which basically means something that doesn’t make sense. She also references her Vegas show when she asks “is this all virtual?” Which fits with the storyline of the show.

Replay has a lot of rewind or reverse sounds to fit with the title of the song.

On Babylon, instead of saying blood moonlight in one of the lyrics, Gaga says Bloodpop moonlight. In that same lyric, when Gaga sings “Speak in languages in a bloodpop monlight” Gaga is referencing story on the Bible that explains the origin of all languages in the Tower of Babel. This also supports the theme of the song which is “Gossip”.

I absolutely love that "Oh!" part. Makes it so Gaga.

Isn’t that basically that same as something not making sense?

no, enigma may seem to be something impossible to understand, like a riddle

but it actually makes sense if you look into it

like a mystery

This may be a stretch, but in 911 I like to think that the very fast paced, crazy verses sort of represent a bout of mania, and then the subdued chorus is when she pops a 911.
