Companies artificially inflating their value is actually a serious issue that affects a lot of people.

If you’re a publicly traded company people have their retirement invested in you. When that house of cards comes tumbling down it’s not Kylie Jenner who will be suffering, it’s the little old ladies whose pensions have invested in what they were misled to believe was a good bet.

Also, the Securities and Exchange Commission exists to investigate this exact kind of thing, it’s not like they are taking resources away from prosecuting  murderer cops.

Educate yourself.
