So what happens is you go online and surround yourself with negative energy and eventually your brain starts to think these things are actually affecting you because subconsciously it can’t tell the difference between reality and social media.

This is actually the exact reason why movies and tv shows are such an effective form of brainwashing. Your conscious mind realizes it’s just entertainment, but your subconscious mind can’t tell the difference.

Uhh, what do you suggest? Ignore it all until it looks better?

I'm not suggesting anything that's not my job. But we need to acknowledge that social media is poison. The elite are perpetuating Racism as a divided population is easier to control. Some people in the government are perpetuating racism as a divide and conquer strategy.

I'm a Afro-latino (american) and seeing Gaga always being vocal and standing up for any injustices truly shows us her heart. It's one of the reasons I will always support this girl no matter what. Her spirit is just so pure and I truly hope she can feel our love when she's feeling like there's no one there. 

I knowww this thread is about Bey (lol) I think anyone speaking out is awesome. I'm just speechless with the whole situation. Look sweetie I don't like Beyonce all that much really (for creative reasons), but besides the fact that this is a good message to put out she has every right as a black American woman to speak out against the disgusting injustice that is being enforced on her race. You can only imagine how she, a mother of three black children besides being a black woman herself, feels at the sight of black people being murdered senselessly and no justice being served.

I hope she’s helping people BTS. I know there’s a MAJOR difference between this and DADT but I’d be glad if she was pulling some strings like Gaga did while she tried to help us repel DADT. Beyoncé is not a simple pop icon, she’s more or less a leader for African American women, people need her.

Also I know stan wars between the Hive hurt the Monsters (me included, I don’t get their hate) but can we please stop hating on her on THIS subject at least? I think it’s a little too much given the circumstances.

Y’all complaining about a video clearly don’t understand the point of it. People would complain anyways even if she didn’t post anything so it’s best to ignore it. Beyonce was never a talker and it kinda explains the lack of emotions so let’s not... This is a strong message that was needed to be sent out to the world. She has big platform and I’m glad she is using it for good!

Such a good realization. And it's true, there have been way worse things during human history. But with social media, we get to know most of them worldwide. 

I think this time still has pretty bad things happening, but it's way better than before for sure.
