I thought you meant if it was rare for Gaga's albums to reach a score of 80+. Sorry It's still uncommon though. He/him/his

Bon Gonzalez 2,221
I predicted this to be her first "Universal Acclaimed" album on Chromatica Discussion thread so hopefully it stays there. Whew.

Rio 5,088
y'all could be setting yourself up for disappointment by hyping up this score so early in the week. this is only the first round of reviews, and I wouldn't be surprised if this drops to around the 70 mark by the week's end. many albums can start off high then drop. I'm sure Joanne had a similar start

ItsCaseyPaul 1,305
So after surfing through a few pages on metacritic, Chromatica is #58 on top albums of the year out of 201 reviewed albums. (Last place is #201 Changes by Justin Bieber which got a 57 critic score )

I'm sure Joanne had a similar start Eh, Slant is almost always the harshest on Gaga and their review is out there. I doubt she'll get any reviews "worse" than the one from Slant. Weirdly enough, they were harsher on Ariana imo in their review of ROM (described Gaga's "foghorn" as out singing Ariana's "warbling"). That said, I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up in the mid or high 70s. I doubt it will be 70, tho.....

Critics (obviously) are for official reviewers, and the user score is something anyone can participate in.
