Suddenly the lights turned off and a disco ball hung from the ceiling with pink laser lights around. People started looking at each other with a sassy face, and in the blink of an eye everyone was in heels voguing on the ground as if they were in a competition, taking turns singing to the words of the song “battle for your life, Babylon”. On the corner, a shy dancer only mumbled “gossip gossip” through the song while taking sips from his cosmopolitan. As soon as the song ended, everything sort of came back to normal, people pretended nothing happened. It will be forever their secret - they had a great gay experience.
