Honestly, this is so stupid. 

People are acting like he blatantly said something racist that went against the entire black community or something. 

First of all, he’s NOT entirely to blame here. This was for Saturday Night Live. There’s writers and producers on the show that are responsible for writing and/or approving this in the first place.

I think it’s hilarious. He’s obviously just playing a character - A SPECIFIC person (Chris Rock). This doesn’t represent all black people either.  

Y’all are SO bored in quarantine, finding any little piece of pop culture in the past 20+ years to cancel someone because you’re THIS bored.

Cancel culture is so big in the US. 
I’m from the Netherlands, people here wouldn’t give a f*ck about what a celebrity did in the past. The mindset is so extremely different, it’s really interesting.

I admit this isn’t a good look. And even though he’s the one that did it (as an actor), it was a TV show that thought it was okay to air this. SNL needs to apologize and take responsibility for this more than Fallon.
