I couldn't see them pulling of gospel Although one could argue that gospel isn't necessarily on-theme for a movie about ancient Greece anyway The Muses did a very pop style of gospel that verged on being closer to broadway style - so they have a lot of wiggle room for the influences. It being live action though also raises interesting questions as to HOW the muses will be represented since we are introduced to them as artwork on pottery!
