VIP GA Experience

I had early entry for both ArtRave and Joanne. You check in at a designated spot and then line up. At ArtRave, we were inside the whole time. But for Joanne we were outside for about an hour and then moved inside to a back corridor. It’s not like regular GA where you have to show up super early to get a good spot. Both times we showed up about 2 to 2.5 hours ahead of the show start time and got front row (we did choose to stand at satellite stages though, you should probably show up a little earlier if you want to stand right at the main stage). Early entry ticket holders usually take up the first 3 to 4 rows around satellite stages and the first 5 to 6 at the main stage.

They lined us up right next to restrooms and food stalls, so we had pretty much all we needed while we waited. Then the group got taken down to the floor about an hour before showtime. At ArtRave, we didn’t move once we got our spot. It was about 4.5 hours total and I just didn’t drink anything the whole time and it was fine. For Joanne they let us in a little earlier so we waited longer, my sister and I went to the restroom right before they started letting regular GA in and the people behind us let us back in to our spot. We were with a third person who stood in our area and we also made sure we went back through the exact same people so they knew we had been there before. But sometimes people aren’t as nice, so best advice is: don’t drink very much!

Both of these experiences were absolutely amazing (which is why I dropped so much money on early entry tickets today 😂). Joanne especially because we chose to stand at the secondary stage (with her piano) and Gaga took a painting from a local artist that was standing right next to us, so we got to have a little extra moment in the show while she was standing literally feet from us and holding up the painting for all of us in that area to see.

I’m so glad to hear you made it to the postponed show! I actually remember when she cancelled that show. Omg and I remember fans singing to her when she was on her balcony with her anime phone case, makes me realize she’s been inspired by anime for a while now! That’s also pretty cool you heard her rehearse too

so what your saying is once they let you into the venue for early access you had an hour or two until show time? That’s not bad at all. So the coorider is like a waiting room almost? That sounds like a lot of fun. So if you had to leave to use the restroom you were able to? Even if you had a friend save your spot was it hard to get back through the crowd to yours spot? Was this in an arena or a stadium? I’m sorry I have so many questions. I really appreciate You helping and sharing your experience

Don’t worry! It’s normal I was so insecure for my first show and still am for my second one :laughga:

Yes it was such a cool moment!! We had a little party in the streets in front of her hotel, it was a nice memory! And yeah all we could see was that tiny Princess Peach (I think) phone case :ladyhaha:

Yeah exactly!

1. You enter the VIP “waiting room” / corridor. You wait all day. Near the opening hour, representatives come and scan your tickets, you get the safety rules, etc. (length varies depending on how early you arrive)

2. You enter the actual entrance of the arena, with the merch boots, etc. As you enter you go through the metal detector and they hand you the VIP merch. You see the normal GA waiting outside. They make you form a line at the entrance of the actual arena. (20-30 minutes I’d say? It’s blurry but you do get enough time to buy merch and go back in line)

3. They’ll give you the OK to enter the venue. You basically just follow the line towards the pit and take place in the first rows. Veeery soon after, the normal GA + seated people start coming in. But it takes lots of time to scan every GA ticket so they enter in very small waves and that lasts for a good chunk of the hour (that’s basically the time allowed between door opening and beginning of the show).

Depending on how late she is you can add about an hour, so yes, 1-2 hours waiting inside the pit.

You can totally leave for any reason when you’re in the waiting room, as long as you make sure your spot is secured. Either ask the person behind you, or a friend to stay there, or with the bracelets system if there is one.

But the waiting room part is really not formal, no one from the actual venue is there to manage the line. You just gotta figure it out between fans, which is normally pretty smooth. And I don’t know how you imagine it, but it’s reaaaaally not crowded at all. There’s very few people for the length of the room. Everyone gets a quite big personal space, you can definitely spread out a bit. (A lot of people take early entry so they don’t have to arrive at the venue early, which means not a lot of people in the waiting room)

But once you are in the pit, I suggest you don’t move. It’s gonna be VERY hard going to the bathroom and come back to your spot without losing it. I would not take the risk. Definitely use the “waiting room” part to your best advantage and go to the bathroom while you’re still there

I didn't read the replies so someone may have already explained it in great detail but i'll give you my experience for JWT!

Back then it was called the "Come To Mama" VIP Package and the one this tour is IDENTICAL to it.

Me and my friends arrived at the venue right around 10:30am that morning to wait in the Early Entry line. Please know there are gonna be 2 separate lines so make sure you get in the Early Entry line. There are usually signs or just ask the people in line and they'll tell you what line they are. ANYWAYS we got there at 10:30 and we were 16, 17 & 18 in line. Which was a little further back than I wanted to be but whatevs......the waiting game is so fun. We talked, laughed, shared stories, made several friends in line. Usually someone has a sharpie and puts a number on your hand. You can leave to pee, get food, etc. Obviously you can't show up get a number and then go home cause its not fair to everyone waiting all day.

Finally at like 5pm the vip staff comes out and scans tickets, they also give you your vip lanyard. This gives you the perfect opportunity to take some pics and post them to make the locals jealous. Cause you still have to stand around for another hour before they escort you inside. Once escorted inside they take you to a desk single filed and you get your vip goodies (yes you will have to hold them the entire show) and then usually they give you a 5-10 min window to go pee. THEN they escort you in a single filed line to the pit. Then from there you stay at your spot till the show starts!

HOPE YOU HAVE A BLAST! if you have ANY questions please don't hesitate to reach out!
