Sometimes what we suspect might be COVID 19 symptoms such as headaches and chest pains are just results of our excessive paranoia and stress. (I’ve been there myself)Stay at home, avoid unnecessary contact, and you’ll be fine. 2. Don’t indulge yourself too much in news about the virus, for it might cause vicarious traumatization (in simpler terms, our empathy for those who suffered might induce too much sadness and negativity in ourselves). Try to focus on something else. Watch a movie, read an interesting book, or stream Stupid Love. Chinese liddos have been there months before, so this is all speaking from my own experience. This one came out today and concerns Italy and how their health care system is reaching it's breaking point. They have no choice but to play God because of limited resources/personal. The US "could" be here in a month. It scares me cause I'm an old dude. ROME — The mayor of one town complained that doctors were forced to decide not to treat the very old, leaving them to die. In another town, patients with coronavirus-caused pneumonia were being sent home. (If you don't know, Washington state had a large outbreak in a nursing home) I live in Portland, OR which is close to WA . Majority of large social events have been cancelled. Majority of childcare is cancelled. My busses have seen a LARGE decline in passengers and tonight (Friday night) the streets are empty downtown... Grocery stores have little to no toilet paper and cleaning supplies. My friend in WA went to 4 stores (2 Walmart, 1 Fred Meyer, 1 Safeway) and all sold out of tp. Trying to stay calm with a bottle of wine and a candlelit bubble bath Link to post Share on other sites
