I don't want a hotel near Stade de France because we will stay in Paris for 4 days, does anyone have good recommendations for good arrondissements close to the city centre? Never been to Paris, what about quartier latin?

Yes, you should. Saint-Denis is not the safer place of France :selena:
I already went to the "Corona Opera Hotel", it's very good and rated 4/5 on Google. You can search another one on all.accor.com (I love the Ibis/Ibis Style hotels, Novotel if you have a lot of money...). Send me a PM if you need anything.

Yeah, I've been looking for it too since they aren't answering mails (or maybe they're taking their time but...) :noparty:

Plan-des-arrondissements-de-Paris.jpg

1st arrondissement - you have the Louvre Museum/Palais Royal/Tuileries's garden/Hotel de Ville

3rd arrondissement - you have Le Marais (gay's district)

4th arrondissement - you have Notre-Dame and ile de la Cité

5th arrondissement - you have the Pantheon and quartier latin

6th arrondissement - you have Le quartier Saint Germain (very beautiful !)

7th arrondissement - you have Orsay Museum/Invalides/Eiffel Tower

8th arrondissement - you have Elysée Palace/Opera Garnier (extremely beautiful)/Madeleine

16th arrondissement - you have Trocadero (impressive view of the Eiffel Tower) and Arc Triomphe/Champ-Elysée

18th arrondissement - Sacré Coeur and Montmartre (stunning view of Paris)

Saint Denis near Stade de France has become so safe in the last few years because of gentrification though
