Leblanc 2,242
First things first, I had no idea where to put this so sorry if it's in the wrong section. Anyway, I just saw this article while searching 'Lady Gaga' into Google since it's super fun to do whenever she is making headlines. But yeah anyway I saw an article written by someone who works for The NY Times about being in a relationship with Polansky for 7 years before they broke up and then one day discovering he is now dating Lady Gaga. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/27/opinion/lady-gaga-boyfriend.html I think you get one good chance to read it before having to subscribe or something so I couldn't post the article's text here unfortunately. It's quite a good read and she doesn't come off salty or bitter. Instead she actually has a good mindset and starts trying to live with a more 'Gaga' mindset. Edit - OMG I'm a mess I thought he was called Michael Parker lmao I always let the good ones go

Regina George 59,387
Such an interesting read. You go girl! This is how women support women. She doesnât seem bitter or jealous at all and she actually praised Gaga a lot. We love a successful confident woman.  Iâm sure everyone can relate to this but not everyone will be this civil and adult about it. It really shows the growth and maturity of a person. She could have wrote this shocking juicy exposĂ© or whatever would sell but she chose not to.
ydnmnme 16,038
By the way, I liked the article and I fully understand what she means and how she feels. IAmNotHere1997 25,824
For those who can't read the article and don't have an account or a subscription either, here's the full article: Spoiler I was eating bodega grapes at my desk on a recent Monday morning, gearing up to wrangle my inbox, when my phone started buzzing: âCheck Facebook.â âCheck Twitter.â âAre you OK?â It was an emergency: My ex-boyfriend, I learned, had a new girlfriend. Lady Gaga. âLololâ if you want. (Everyone I know did.) But it was true. While Iâd been watching the Super Bowl on television in New York, they were snuggling in her private box at the Hard Rock Stadium at Miami Gardens. There were the paparazzi as he escorted her away, her pink hair flowing and sequins pasted around her eyes. Page Six produced a deep dive into Lady Gagaâs new âmystery man.â Refinery29 announced that Gaga was âwearing 2020âs hottest new accessory: a normal boyfriend.â The story appeared in the Daily Mail, and Business Insider and People, where my mother read about the couple after checking the magazine out from our local library. I dated this normal, mystery man for seven years. Our relationship lasted all of college, and then a few years more. (A popular song from back then described being âcaught in a bad romance.â) As you can guess from the fact that youâve probably never heard of me, Iâm not famous.
retroglamx 5,087
Why can't every man and woman be like this? That was such a wholesome article and I feel nothing but respect for the writer. Pink flamingos always fascinated me.

OMonster 14,171
Brilliant read. It must be a crazy experience to see someone you lived your life with suddenly in a relationship with an A-list celebrity. And I guess you could either get bitter about it, or see it as something inspiring and life-affirming. I mean, this lady has embraced being the ex of Lady Gaga's boyfriend. It shows he's got good taste after all. And Michael found her beautiful, just as he does Gaga - so it's pretty positive, lol. subtext / fantasy

HausOfG 1,560
Pretty relatable. I'm just surprised none of her friends ID'd him from the NYE pics but I guess it was hard when his face was stuck into an international superstar all night. "I think it's funny that I'm not allowed to have a sense of humour" - Lady Gaga
