"Bleach out all the dark, I'll swallow each peroxide shot, someone I know will love and save me from myself" Is about her struggle with putting on the 'Lady Gaga' costume. We know from Mary Jane Holland that she associates her brunette hair with anonymity, and here she is singing about bleaching herself back to blonde and the struggle of being famous. "I'm hungry from an anorexic heart" because she can't connect with strangers anymore. The whole song is about feeling trapped as the blonde super star, destined to die young and alone.
