I want Parasite and Little Women to dominate, but I know that 1917 and Once Upon a Time In Hollywood will.

Tbh though, most nominated movies this year are well over an 8/10, so I won’t really be mad either way.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

The acting categories are pretty locked, in my opinion. For some reason though, I feel like there may be an upset in one of them (excluding Best Supporting Actor, because Brad Pitt has that locked).

I really want Parasite to win Best Picture, and I feel like it can. 1917 has a really good shot too, though.

I also would love to see either Bong Joon Ho or Todd Phillips win Best Director. Phillips is probably the last  person to win, but I think Bong can really stand a chance against Sam Mendes (the main frontrunner).

I've been following the Oscars for as long as I can remember and for some reason, this year they already seem extremely underwhelming.

The only upset I can see happening is maybe best actress, and that’s only because Judy didn’t get much love anywhere else other than makeup.

I could definitely see that. I would love Scarlett to win Best Actress; honestly, I would rather any one of those actresses win over Renee.

For some reason, I have a feeling Adam Driver could upset though. Joaquin will most likely win, but I could also see a lot of people really loving and enjoying Adam's performance in Marriage Story (deservedly so).

As for winners, I think the winners will actually all the favourites:

1917 - best picture

Joaquin Phoenix- best actor

Renée Zellweger - best actress

Brad Pitt- supporting actor

Sam Mendes - director

...supporting actress is up for grabs though I think.
