Billie's rise is dangerous to Gaga

Bobbins

Featured Posts

Time itself is 'dangerous' to Gaga. Nobody, NOBODY, says at the top forever. It's just not possible, nor is it realistic to expect.

Gaga is extremely talented, and will have a long and enduring legacy. But she will not be a 'main pop girl' forever, and nobody else will be either. That's fine and normal.

Cutting down up and coming artists is futile, and just makes people look bitter. There is no need to pit anyone against each other.

This tells me how little you know about Billie. Just watch her interviews or performance. The girl has AMAZING stage presence and a beautiful voice with a timber that is stunning. She's also a songwriter and is really charismatic. This is why she's a threat. She has TABS (talent acclaim beauty success). The likes of LORDE didn't have that. Billie has supreme staying power especially considering she's only 18.

Nope, nope, nope! It doesn't matter what age she is. Look at Bieber, he fizzled out two years into his career. Age is irrelevant. If the artist is putting out good music, the audience will listen, if the artist puts out crap, the audience will tune out. Just because some awards show says Oh  this deserves a grammy, it doesn't mean the artist has an undeniable longevity in the business. Call me when Billie is 10 years in the business and still making waves  going down new avenues like Gaga. Monster Out. BYE!

People care way too much about this stuff. Award shows are just promotional tools for record labels , they have no real value , you don't need awards to make a cultural impact, Bob Marley And Tupac never won any grammys but Megan Trainor has one, the list goes on...

How about you shut the fck up? There’s room for more than two successful artist. Y’all just love putting women against each other. Is Shawn Mendes rise a threat to Justin Bieber? No.
r/thread

Actually people do say that about Shawn. One of the reasons Justin's new music is bombing is because people like Shawn and Ed have occupied that space. Stop trying to make this debate gendered it's digusting.

What are you talking about? Bieber has not fizzled out at all. He's still hugely relevant and started the same time as Gaga. Just a few years ago he had the monster smash hit 'Sorry'.

Exactly. The real impact will be how people remember you in the end.

But they currently aren’t :bradley:

Are you serious? She doesn't have anything ready for release or the date hasn't arrived yet it's that simple? What are they supposed to be doing? And besides: That's not her management. All the artists under interscope have their own teams of people and probably some people there are designated to certain artists. One artist hitting it big doesn't affect the team of all the others... the OP's argument makes no sense.

I really don't get the fear of someone like Billie Eilish coming into the game. Gaga and Billie are so far away that the only thing that looks similar to Gaga is the uber success she's having. I mean she deserves everything she has. Getting there is no easy.

Why can't we learn from the errors made from fanbases like the Madonna one? There is no danger. There is not such a thing for an artist like Gaga or Madonna or Xtina. The only danger to Gaga is herself. The same for Billie.

Let's cheer for a girl that destroyed the night and live easy, don't worry so much and enjoy.

The only disgusting thing here is your need to pit Billie and Gaga. Justin’s new music is bombing cause it’s bad. And how tf does Ed Sheeran come in the discussion? Also, even though JB bombed, he still did better than 90% of Shawn’s singles so. Seriously, GET A LIFE

You’re clearly just looking to get a hit thread and cause trouble. Reported. :vegas:
