The lyrics just aren’t good enough to keep me interested and i feel like that might be the same for many stans. I think to keep the hype up she needs to be more interesting with visuals but even a version with different more meaningful lyrics would be interesting. Tho if she plans to release the song as it is and release a basic mv, i really don’t think it’s the way to go. Are y’all still hyped? Should she release another single and not risk with SL? The song itself is iconic and if it was released with a proper rollout I'd totally be obsessed. It's somewhat of a fun song but not great, like, even if it had more lyrics it still sounds like it came straight out of 2012 and doesn't give me that omg feeling her music usually does. But gosh, I feel like it would be more beneficial to publicly share the pros instead of the cons. I dunno, maybe it’s just me, but if I don’t care for the work or art of someone then that is something I feel should be kept to myself. I just love her so much.
