Just horrible writing all around I hated the staging, those screens made it look incredibly cheap and the changes in the plot were so unnecessary. They took the movie, which had bite and was really “mean”, and turned it into a cringy anti-bullying PSA for little kiddies. As much as I love musicals and Mean Girls, the soundtrack was disappointing. The musical and lyrics just don’t do it for me. I’ll have to give it another listen.
