I saw one of these for Katy going around too. 

I think its fake because I skimmed the articles on this yesterday and have been following the  story on Goldderby and  Ed & Ariana were the only artists mentioned by name. Plus Malibu would have been eligible two years go and that was during the Neil Portnow tenure.

That was still during the Neil tenure. 

Regardless its not true, and I doubt it was in serious contention. They only like to vote in A.) crazy successful songs, B.) their own friends apparently, and C.) P4K darlings to give themselves some cred. Plus, I don't think she's big enough to get voted in by name alone.
